Special Educational Needs Support

Our SENDCo works closely with families to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children with additional needs. We are committed to understanding each child as an individual and adapting our provision where possible to help them thrive. We work in partnership with external professionals, including Emotional Wellbeing Specialists (EWBS), Inclusion Development Officers (IDO), and Specialist Advisory Teachers (SAT).

We pride ourselves in giving our families as much support as possible with referrals and applications, including Education Health & Care Plans (EHCP) processes. We use tools such as WellComm, Individual assessment of Early Learning & Development (IAELD) and sensory profiling to gain a deeper understanding of each child’s individual needs. However, we recognise that our setting may not be suitable for every child. We warmly invite families to visit us, meet our team, and explore the environment so we can work together to determine whether we can meet your child’s needs and whether they will feel comfortable and confident in our setting.
